The pianist Frank Wasser, born in Trier (Germany), studied piano in the classes of Prof. Brigitte Pfeiffer, Prof. Georg Sava, Georg Sebog and interpretation of artificial song by Aribert Reimann at the Highschool of Arts in Berlin. As soloist and pianist for chambermusic he gives concerts on international places. Also he is a specialist for music of the 20. century. In Berlin he teaches a piano-class for highschool preparatory and chambermusic. At the Music-Highschool in Cottbus and in international masterclasses he teaches piano and chambermusic. Frank Wasser is the initiator and art director of many concert festivals, for example “Debussy- Zyklus” in Berlin, “Havelländische Musikfestspiele”, “Südbrandenburgische Klaviertage”. He works together with international known music artists at his festivals. As the foundation member of the “Institut für westslawische Musikforschung” in Cottbus/Germany he got the “Guido Adler Preis” for music science in 2004. Frank Wasser is the conductor of the New Berlin Piano Trio. A lot of music works from well known composers of contemporary music has been written for that trio. The pianist Frank Wasser was member of the jury in the music competition “ROVERE D`ORO” in 2002 - 2005. He is also member of the music competition of Vasto (Italia) and the International Piano Competition of Rome (President 2004). Frank Wasser played recitals inter alia in Moscow Conservatoire, Munich Gasteig and South Korea (Seoul). He gave and will give concerts in 2008/2009 in Germany, Italy, North Cyprus, Belgium, Spain, Yugoslavia (Belgrade), France, Argentina, Uruguay, Canada and New York (Carnegie Hall).
