Oda Hjertine Voltersvik took part in the Norwegian “Young Musicians” programme
connected to the Grieg Academy, 2006 – 2008, with her principal teacher associated professor Signe Bakke. After two years at the Grieg Academy, she will continue her bachelor study at the Royal College of Music in London from autumn 2010.
Oda has participated and performed at international festivals and master classes in Stavanger and Valdres, for four years at Oxford Philomusica International Piano Festival and Summer Academy, and at Jiri Hlinka Grand Piano Academy in Bergen. Concerts venues include “Grieg Summer Series” at Troldhaugen, outdoor concert during the Grieg 07 Jubilee and performance in Leipzig Town Hall.
Together with Hilde Hasselberg she took part in Beijing 1st International Folk Music Festival in 2009 with pieces from Edvard Grieg’s repertoire.
