Hilde Veslemøy Hagen, soprano, is from Bergen and has a masterdegree in vocal performance from the Griegacademy. Hilde has a versitile repertoire which span from churchmusic and opera to the lieder and musicalgenre. Her performances include a.o J.S. Bach’s St. Johnspassion (a.o conducted by Peter Screier), J. Haydn’s The Creation and Händel’s Messiah.
Hilde has performed with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and has given a large number of recitals with the songs of Edvard Grieg. Among them two solorecitals at Troldhaugen. In opera we have a.o. found her as Queen of the night in Mozart’s The magic flute and Baby Blue in Libby Larsens Dreaming Blue.
Hilde is a member of the Bergen Vocalensemble which perform regularly with Den Nye Opera in Bergen, as well as give their own concerts. Hilde has taken part in a number of cd recordings. This season she takes part in the Grieg in Bergen Summer Festival for the 8th time.
